So
much has been happening, and we've all been super busy. But
we wanted to let you all in on a few of the things that we've been
up to and give you a glimpse of our plans for the future.
Things
have been going really well and we want to thank each and every
one of you. It's been great playing to full rooms (well, usually
the rooms are almost full) and it's because you've been coming out
and spreading the word. We're an indy, grassroots band and that's
how we get this shit down, so we appreciate your support.
We do however, need to send out a big "Thanks for Nothing &
Fuck You!" to Albany for the February 15th show. But, hey!
Concentric was more important and we still love you anyways...
Otherwise, we've gotten a lot of very positive feedback on our live
shows and we appreciate all the compliments and good vibes.
We love bands who not only write great songs and are great at their
instruments, but who also love entertaining their audiences.
And we strive to entertain you. And thanks to all the wonderful
compliments on our three song demo. For everyone wondering
when the first full-length HC album is coming please read on....
The
future holds a lot more of the same for Honeycreeper. We've
decided that we've had such a great time playing in cities throughout
the Northeast, that what the hell? Let's think even bigger!
So, while we continue to book shows throughout the Northeast, we'll
also be expanding our circuit to include the rest of the east coast
and beyond (places like CO if we're lucky). Although we're
only in the very opening stages of the process, we also are very
excited at the prospect of recording our first album. We'll
let you all know about it when we know more about it.
Remember,
we want every HC show to be a party for everyone involved, so come
on out with an open mind, your dancing shoes on, and a party vibe...

Wow,
a lot has been happening in the Land of Honey. First- we've
just finished recording a few new songs. These new can be
downloaded - for free! - on this site. Just click "the
downloads" page and download away! Download long.
Download Hard. Download like the wind. Or, if you're
not the downloading type, we are giving away free copies of the
CD at our shows!
We
are really excited about these news songs. And I'm not too
humble to let you know that we think they kick serious ass!
We recorded at The Clubhouse down in Rhinebeck, NY with our best
buds- Daniel Goodwin, Sean Price and Paul Antonell. We also
must thank Chris "Danger" Powers for stopping in regualry
and nodding his head along to the beats. That always makes
me feel good inside. Honestly, some of my favorite days have
been spent in The Clubhouse with Daniel, Sean, Paul and Chris.
They've just got the "Hot Carl" to make everything tight!
We've
also been playing shows, and we really appreciate all the support.
A lot of people have been coming to listen to us sing our songs
and play our instruments, and for that we are grateful.
Make
sure to check us out this weekend! We're playing Friday night
at the Electric Company in Utica. This is our first time in
Utica so we'd love to have a great turnout. Even if you can't
make it, maybe you could let others know about it. We will
also be playing Saturday at SUNY Albany in the Campus Center Ballroom.
It is a charity event talent showcase for the Women's Resource Center.
The entire event begins at 7:00 pm and we will be going on at 9:00
pm. So come on out, support a good cause, see us sing our
songs and play our instruments, and leave early enough to still
be able to go out afterwards to continue the party.

Today's
top headline in the Land of Honey:
Honeycreeper
Unveils All New, Completely Updated Website.
That's
right, it's finally back, and better than ever. Honeycreeper's
tiny little exit on the information superhighway. We promise
that this site will be frequently updated, not only content-wise
but also picture-wise and graphics-wise.
We've
decided that instead of a lot of photos of us plastered all over
our website, it would be very cool to have our website graffitied
with a lot of art and graphics from many different artists and designers.
It's been a goal of ours to not only be members of a music ensemble,
but have that ensemble be a member of a larger artistic conglomerate-
a conglomerate made up artists practicing different disciplines
of art, and whose only connection to each other is that they dig
each others' art and want to help each other out. So if you'd
like to help us out, and donate some art or graphics to our site,
please contact us!
Shows
are being booked throughout the Northeast as you read this, and
the best place to find out where we'll be is this website.
So check back often.
Isn't
technology great?

Hey!
How have you been? Enjoying the summer? We miss you.
But, we will be seeing you very soon.
That's right -- Honeycreeper is back! Better than ever!!!
In our last email, we introduced you to the Sean- Honeycreeper's
new master of the low end. Things have been going great with
Sean- he's really been an enormous breath of fresh air.
In this email, Honeycreeper would like to introduce you to Jarrod
Schneyer, our new guitarist. Jarrod has been playing with
us for many, many weeks now and we decided it was time to introduce
him (at least electronically) to you. We would've introduced
Jarrod sooner, but we've been having too much fun creating and playing
music, to pull ourselves away to write this email.
With Sean and Jarrod in the band, Honeycreeper is poised to take
over the world. We've been reworking many of the older songs,
creating a slew of new ones, and even putting our wacky-ass spin
on a few covers, Honeycreeper style. And we're not too humble
to say that the music is absolutely rockin'!!!
But don't take our word for it. If you're interested in learning
more about the Honeycreeper live experience, please check out this
review of a last-minute show we played last Saturday night --
http://www.jambase.com/headsup.asp?storyID=4037
The review was written by someone whom we met that night at the
show and who had never seen us before. Apparently we made
an impression on him, because he decided to write a very
flattering review of us. We are really honored and humbled
by his kind words. We make music for ourselves first and foremost,
so it's always really amazing for us when it connects with others.
While you're checking out our review on www.JamBase.com
, please type our name into the search engine on the www.JamBase.com
main page. If you do this, we might actually show up
on their "Top Searches" list. If you really want
to help a young band out, you'll register with www.jambase.com
and add Honeycreeper to "My Favorites". This
would be a huge way for you to show your support for Honeycreeper,
without having to do all that much.
Over the next few weeks, we will be unveiling our revamped and updated
website, which will include updated content, new pictures, plenty
of cool graphics, and a whole lot of other surprises.
Most importantly, Honeycreeper is in the process of booking shows
for the fall. We'll be returning to a lot of our favorite
clubs, as well as showing up at many news clubs, too! If you
know of somewhere we should play, please feel free to let us know.
If you're interested in helping us promote any of our shows, please
let us know. We could certainly use all the help we can get.
We are extremely excited about the next chapter of Honeycreeper.
We believe Honeycreeper v2.0 is going to be a lot of fun, as we
are a lot more high energy and rockin', and even funkier than ever.
We look forward to seeing you and we appreciate you for hanging
in their during our transition. We promise you that it will
be well worth the wait!
See you soon.
Rock On!
Much Love and Respect,
Mandy, Sean, Jarrod & El Mustango
