January 2nd, 2007 - Happy New Year!! We hope you had an awesome holiday season. 2006 was an amzing year for Honeycreeper, and 2007 will be even bigger. We just wanted to mention that the video for "The Man" won a contest over at Brickfish. Woo Hoo!
November 25th, 2006 - We're pleased to welcome Igor Stolarsky into the Honeycreeper family. Igor will be playing guitar and has already taken us to the next level, musically. Igor is stepping in after our previous guitarist decided that he couldn't be away from his girl friend he had been dating for three weeks and left us in the middle of our national tour back in August. After a near beating of the former guitarist at the hands of El Mustango and a visit from Iowa's finest ("the so-called men in blue" - thanks CrazyEyes for that quote) Honeycreeper decided to finish the tour as a guitar-less trio. We had an amazing time... Anywho, all's well that ends well, and we're very psyched to have such a talented guitarist as Igor on board. Plus, his name is Igor and that's just cool...
September 25th, 2006 - FINALLY!! Honeycreeper's debut video for "The Man" is finished and available for your visual stimulation and pleasure. Check it!!
August 22nd, 2006 - Honeycreeper is back from tour and ready to start writing new material. They are also looking for a new guitar player, so if you love them and you think you have the balls to play guitar with them please contact us!!
Also, more positive feedback for Freakqualizer!
DECOY MUSIC says: "
It’s a lot of fun finding bands that are different than what you usually listen to and actually enjoying them. Honeycreeper is the type of band that doesn’t fit nicely into a small genre subset. Instead they run that gamut. There’s a wicked rhythm section base, consisting of some truly funky bass riffs and punchy, almost jazzy, drumming. Building on top of this foundation is the mixture of ska guitars, punk guitars, and hard rock guitars. Accentuating the already potent mix are well-used tenor and baritone saxophones. Topping it all off are the immediate sounding female vocals. In 11 tracks you get your fair share of jazz, funk, ska, rock, and punk. This shit is good!"
ALL AGES ZINE says: "
Honeycreeper has released what I consider one of the best albums of 2007 with "Freakqualizer." With a combination of up-tempo guitars that make you bounce, a horn section and the female vocals for the most part I found myself comparing this a lot to early No Doubt, ya know back when they were a good band. Every song is fun and energetic and will make you move and that's always a plus in my book. The vocals, provided by Mandy Beck are absolutely amazing. She has a wonderful voice that helps shape these songs and the album as a whole. This is destined to be a classic record so you may want to jump on this one right now. Great record and this would make a fine addition to anyone's collection of music."
And Joe of The Web Log Experiment wrote a review of the KY show at The Third Street Dive. That was one of our favorite shows of the tour, so it's great to see such a great review. It's a pretty lengthy review, and Joe says makes us seem amazing (even though we're really just a bunch of dorks) so just go check it out!!

beauty affectionately named "Baby") and he's totally psyched
to be partnering with a company that is run by great people who
take pride in hand building drums that sound amazing. Please
check Precison Drum out on the interweb by clicking here.

January
10th, 2005 - Honeycreeper
would like to introduce you to our new geetar player – Seth
Fisher. Seth has been playing geetar with us for a few weeks now,
so we decided it was time to finally introduce him (at least electronically)
to you. We would have introduced Seth to you sooner, but we’ve
been very busy with his conditioning. You see, in order to join
Honeycreeper, Seth not only needs to be the perfect geetar playing
specimen, but he also needs to demonstrate that he can withstand
the constant mental, physical and emotional abuse of riding in Buster
with Sean for long periods of time. So far he seems to be holding
up pretty well. Let’s see how he does on a longer road-trip,
say to Portland, ME.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our previous geetarist,
Jarrod Stuart, who has left the band to pursue a quieter life with
the Post Office. Jarrod should do well at the Post Office as he
has been conditioned by Sean to withstand mental, physical and emotional
stress.
We would also like to thank our good friend and geetarist extraordinaire
Brian Kaplan, who filled in on geetar and allowed us to continue
to gig until we found Seth. Props to Ryan and August, who filled
in when Brian couldn’t fill in. You all rock. Check
out Brian’s band here.

also insist upon your presence at Honeycreeper's "Freakqualizer"
Release Party ThrowDown Spectacular. Valentine's Music Hall
in Albany, NY on Friday Jan 21st @ 9:00 pm.
January
1st, 2005 - Honeycreeper
would like to wish each and every one of you a very happy New Year.
We wish you and yours good health, good fortune and happiness in
the New Year. We also want to thank you all, from the bottom
of our collective heart, for all the love and support this past
year. 2004 was an awesome year for us, and it would not have
been possible without you. 2005 will be a huge year for Honeycreeper
and we are thankful to know that we can depend on your continued
support. Rock On!
November
18th, 2004 - The fall
just keeps getting better and better! Honeycreeper is beside
itself with joy, as we are wicked super excited to announce that
we will be opening for perhaps our biggest influence- the amazing
and one-of-a-kind FISHBONE!!! This show will be taking place
at The Lion's Den in NYC on Thursday, December 9th. I'm sure
you all know about Fishbone and you're aware of how sick this show
will be. But, let me say that Mandy and Dan had the opportunity
to see see them a little while ago in a club in upstate NY, that
is roughly the size of The Lion's Den and they claim it was hands
down the best show they've ever seen any band put on. So you
do not want to miss this show. Even if you couldn't give a
rat's ass about HC you should still go just to see the legendary
Fishbone. We
have specially reduced priced tickets on sale for this show, so
please buy your tickets from us!
November
8th, 2004
- Honeycreeper is honored to announce that this Friday they will
be joined on stage with Peter Prince who will be playing guitar
for the evening. Peter is the singer / songwriter / guitar
player / charismatic leader of Moon Boot Lover. The evening
will be a highlight for Honeycreeper, as we have all been huge fans
of Peter for years, and are extremely excited to be creating an
evening's worth of music with him. The show will take place
at The Ale House in Portland, ME and the setlist will include songs
from Honeycreeper's soon to be released first album "Freakqualizer",
as well as songs from the Moon Boot Lover catalog.
October
11th, 2004 - Honeycreeper
will be playing its first show at Revolution Hall in Troy, NY on
Nov 4th . Revolution Hall is one of Upstate NY's premier
music venues- by that we mean that it has a great stage, a slammin'
sound system, and brews some mighty tastey beers. It's definitely
a great place to see live music. We're honored to be playing
at Revolution Hall. But, wait- it gets better! We
will opening for the greatest fucking Irish Rock Band - Black 47.
If you don't know who Black 47 is, you should be ashamed
of yerself! Here's just a few reasons why Black 47 is the
best fucking Irish Rock Band in the World: they've been doing their
thing for over fourteen years, played well over 2000 gigs all over
the USA, Europe and South America, did all the major TV shows, closed
down the town of Hoboken, appeared in movies and had their songs
on soundtracks, rocked Shea Stadium three times, been shot at, crawled
from van wrecks, blacklisted, banned, fired and rehired, sold a
ton of CDs, been written about by every paper and magazine that
matters and yet they've never even considered watering down the
political and social ideals, the determination to be original and
the black sense of humor that inspired them ever since the first
fateful evening when they rocked the Bronx. And of course-
the write amazing songs and put on an awesome show! We in
Honeycreeper are huge fans of Black 47 (can you tell?) and we are
extremely honored to be opening for them. Please come out
and support us and Black 47. We can honestly and sincerely
swear that you will have a great time. Please check out the
"sound and the fury" page
for more info regarding this show and others.
